Yes I was always surprised at just how heavy my old octane was, the crossbar and the density of it all certainly contributed to the weight. However, at 65lb I think the Tezro's got it beat by at least ten pounds :-)

PS: just got the tracking from the shipper and apparently it's going to be here by Wednesday! Can't wait...

The Octane2 I sent off to Lefty this year was 71lb in box.

Granted, it did have the PCI cardcage, but it still had one unpopulated XIO slot! They're utter, utter back breakers at the high end.

Well it got here just moments before I had to leave for work, but I managed to get some shots in before I split :-)












And as soon as I get some new discs, I imagine I'll be seeing a lot of this box again too...



Now I just have to get through the next 6 hours of teaching before I can get home and actually start playing with it :-)
