AUTODESK FLAME 2008 SERVICE PACK 6
#61
Re: AUTODESK FLAME 2008 SERVICE PACK 6
The system is running at 1280x1024_60, as the single monitor options for 1920 have strange vertical dimensions that are not compatible with my monitor.

The only option for 1920x1080_60 is for a dual monitor setup.

It seems that Flame's resolution doesn't match that of the IRIX desktop.

How do you change this?

Do you have 1600x1200 available?

Negative, as this is a shitty, 1920x1080 monitor! (The horrible 16:9 ratio that Trippynet hates!)

My Apple Cinema Display is 2560x1440, but that's in Cape Town and it only has a mini-displayport as an input!

hmmmmm

I have flame 9.5 running on an SGI GDM monitor (1280x1024) and that works fine, but I am unsure if things changed. The project type was PAL.

Are you saying that different project types affect Flame's screen layout in terms of dimensions?

I will have to look at this tomorrow after work, as I've messed around enough today!

Even though it's not totally sorted yet, it at least works, and that's enough for now!!!

Flame 2008 expects only 1920 resolution. Smaller screens doesn't fit whole interface. My screen res is 1680x1050 and i also don't have preference button so I must use shortcuts to exit.

I also have flame 9.5.14 and fits ideally on 1680x1050. The same difference is between smoke 2008 and smoke 7.0.14.

indeed, I was thinking one of my 2008 screens was running a lower resolution, but just checked and you are correct.

Is it possible to get the Tezro to output at 1920x1080_60 to a single monitor?
