AUTODESK FLAME 2008 SERVICE PACK 6 -
Irinikus - 08-11-2018
I have finally managed to license my flame 2008 package thanks to gijoe77!
I have copied the Swr_license file to /etc and I have a problem in that I cannot setup a stonefs on my secondary disk in my Tezro.
I think that it's a problem with how the disk is partitioned.
Any help with this would be much appreciated!

Irinikus, make sure that string in swr file is ONE LONG string without breaks. As far as I remember there may be only one CR - at the end of this string.
PS: by the way - did you stop S&W before run sw_config?

You need "stonewire2008_filesystem_networking_guide.pdf", page 27 and walk step by step. Which step this error related to?

I think you did not stopped stone&wire service before setting volumes for framestore. If I remember correctly you need do it - then you are allowed to "save device information", after starting sw service again it auto mounts volumes within framestore. Also if I see correctly you have marked "keep" gadget insted of "create" in upper left part of sw_config window. You need to mark create gedget because I suppose you want to create new framestore. I'm not sure because I'm far from machines.

I'm sure swr string is correct, if not a green block marking disk 2 on controller 0 would be white with marking "unlicensed". So first stop sw (if i remember correctly stop_sw command in sw directory), then sw_config (remember - create), then start_sw. That's the magic.

You said your problem is related to way your drive was partitioned. No, sw_config auto starts fx command and formats drive as needed.

You're right that I didn't stop the stonewire. (I didn't think it was necessary, as the system hadn't been setup before.)
I will fire up my Tezro and give it a try.

I followed the instructions, and this is what I got:

Any ideas?

Are you sure your drive is ok?
You could also try again with sw stopped, then in sw_config first clear or clear all, then again add+create. I had that issue as well but now I don't remember exactly what I did. I'll try tomorrow when I'll come back home.
Also reformating the drive in fx would be a good idea.

What type of drive should it be partitioned as? (root, option...?)
What type of file system? (xfs or efs?)
