After having to reinstall everything after the unfortunate affair with the defective PowerStorm 350, I ran Quake2 after reinstalling it and it defaulted to a full screen mode, so I decided to benchmark it and found to my surprise that it maintained an average FPS of 13.5 FPS running in a full screen mode!!!

Hey, Irinikus, that's at least one thing that is positive from your PowerStorm 350 card purchase!

I will definitely give this a try, as my PC164SX has a 4D60T, also. Maybe, with the 500MHz 21164PC (EV56), we can get a playable framerate of 20fps?

My wife and the kids where away this evening, so I decided it would be the perfect time to check this out (the Alpha is somewhat noisy, and is located in the living room).

So here are my results:

I could start the timedemo, but it reproducibly crashes my box. I have to toggle the power switch to reanimate it.

So, no luck so far... Raisedeyebrow
