I have Matlab 4.2c for UNIX. https://mobile.twitter.com/Betavulgaris6...0524520448, archived at https://archive.org/details/matlab-4.2c-unix, also my personal archive on Huawei Servers.

Heart  RE: Commercial Software Request Megathread
Did someone have used GIS software on IRIX or SunOS/Solaris etc? I only have collected GRASS for IRIX 5.0.2 on fsck.technology, and ArcInfo Workstation 9.3 for SPARC64/PARISC64/POWER64 (on my Twitter and Archive), currently impossible to debug in virtual machines. Also, I am looking forward for Cadence/Mentor/Viewlogic/Synopsys etc. EDA software (Viewlogic Powerview) and AutoCAD specifically R12 (we already have R13 for IRIX on the SGIfiles FTP, but not Solaris). Microstation is also of interest.

it looks like the 4.2c version you have posted on archive is missing sgi binaries - do you happen to have an sgi version?

Oh, I forgot. The "MIPS" is for DECstation. Sorry for no IRIX version inside.

Does anyone have Fractallonomy Revolucid from Hyperreal.com?

It was mentioned on Douglas Scott's SGI Audio Apps page on the sub-page for Commercial Audio Software. The description intrigued me and I wanted to try it out: "Revolucid is a multimedia tool which lets you directly convert images, movies, shapes and sounds into beautifully complex and unique MIDI sequences. Music can also be generated from fractals, mathematical functions, and from 3D objects."

It used to be hosted on "hyperreal.com/~scruton/revvie.tar.Z" as that was where the download link on the archived website went, but the file itself wasn't archived by the internet archive and I can't find it anywhere else.

Audio apps are the main category of software that is missing from any archives, period. There were several commercial packages available back in the day, have never ever seen anything out in the wild.. Soundtrack included with IRIX and a few other apps (Midikeys, etc..) which are novelties more in specific niche areas one can find, but a full fledged DAW, would be like the missing puzzle piece to being able to leverage these machines in a broader scale, even more so since the audio interfaces are top notch. Really such a shame. Until any can be unearthed, ProTools and Logic on the Mac will be my go to unfortunately.

RE: Commercial Software Request Megathread
Most probably this has been requested before. I'm struggling to get my old Octane MXI to run 1920x1080 on a modern IIyama screen, but so far I'm failing. Understood that Discreet Flame 7 holds vfo files that should work so here's the request:

Anyone got the software kit for Discreet Flame 7? Don't need a license; a copy of the vfo's might even be sufficient ...

Maybe something in here will help.
