Commercial Software Request Megathread
To help reduce clutter on the forum, here's a place you can congregate and get various pieces of commercial software out there.

Rules:

1. To avoid us getting DMCAs and ruining the links to things, please provide links to things over PM to the requester and here in the thread equally.

2. Please don't ask for cracking software, keygens or patches.

3. The more info, the better. Version, full product name, any part numbers or product keys.

4. Specify what format you want.

RE: Commercial Software Request Megathread
For me, I have lost a few things it appears in the old migration, so I'm asking for them:

RapidApp

IRIX 6.5.23-25, 27-29

Pascal Compiler 7.1

It doesn't matter the format as long as it's tagged correctly:

For DD dumps of EFS images: .efs, .img or .bin/.cue or a similar format (MDF/MDS, CCD/CCI, NRG etc.)
For tarballs: tar, targz, tarxz, tarbz2 or whatever, including .Z if that's how it is.

I'm looking for a license for Alias | Wavefront Composer 4, also looking for Composer 5 if anyone has a copy??

I do need to tarball up the 3DCD for Wavefront 8 / 9, that has a bunch of textures, help files, etc.. Along with some Composer plugins..

A license for Amazon Paint would also be grateful for..

RE: Commercial Software Request Megathread
I am interested in adding various CAD/CAM/CAE programs for UNIX to my collection.

Namely:
  • PTC Pro|ENGINEER (Pre-Wildfire versions, i.e. release 19 and prior) including supporting documentation, libraries and add-ons.
  • Any other PTC products (such as ProductView, Windchill and Intralink)
  • UGS Unigraphics
  • Dassault Systemes CATIA
  • HP ME10
  • SDRC I-DEAS
  • ANSYS
  • ICEM
  • Older BRL-CAD (before it was open source)
I see "unixmuseum" has I-DEAS, Imageware, QCAD and Ceetron GLiew in his siliconimage gallery. Are these titles still obtainable?

My SGI Hardware:
Indy SGI Indy (1997), R5000 @ 180MHz , 256MB RAM, GR3-XZ graphics, SCSI2SD v5.1 w/ 16GB µSD card, IRIX 6.5.22
O2  SGI O² (1996), R5000 @ 180MHz , 256MB RAM, 2 x 2.0GB SCSI HDD, IRIX 6.5
Other bits: SGI Indycam, Yamaha CRW2100SX-VK External SCSI CD drive, more software than you can poke a stick at.

Unixmuseum was a user on Nekochan.net; he did not make it over. I don't know him or his contact info, sorry.

I have NX I-DEAS 12. It came in a download with some other HP-UX software, however I believe it's an all-UNIX distribution with SGI IRIX included. Comes with a license file, although I don't know enough about FlexLM to say whether it will work on all UNIX platforms or just HP-UX. Also has some installation instructions. The installation seems to work fine, however for some reason I was having flexlm issues where the `lmgrd` daemon wasn't starting or something. Perhaps you could figure something out?

Edit 08/16/2020: It seems that my copy of NX I-DEAS is only the HP-UX disc. All the platforms use the same installer it seems, but the actual files for each different UNIX came on seperate discs. However I still have the license file incase anyone finds a copy and wants to try and run it.

I also have Mathematica 6 (from the same download) and Mathematica 5.2 (separate download) for all-UNIX. I've only tested on HP-UX, but it should include IRIX versions. I can provide licenses.

PM sent.

Also, I'd be interested in getting a copy of Nichimen N-World if anyone has it.

I uploaded ISOs of Pro/Engineer 16.0 and 17.0, unfortunately I don't have the licenses for them nor do I have a scanner to scan the documentation for R 16. I'll PM the links to you when I get the chance.

I'm interested in license files for the following:
  • PTC Pro/Engineer Release 16.0 and 17.0
If anyone happens to have a copy of Wavefront would you be able to send a tar or iso of it, including any licence files if necessary
I'm specifically looking for the version mentioned in this video here:YouTube Link
