I think that your PowerBook might be able to support morphOS? Have to check.

I'm quite happy running Sorbet Leopard: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/sor...d.2300924/
On both my Cube and PB. It's so fast and smooth!

Apple has been a very successful commercial company, and I congratulate them for their historic success. Their success in recent years though, has come from buying the cheapest commodity crap on the market and having it assembled by what amounts to Chinese slave labor.

Project: Temporarily lost at sea
Plan: World domination! Or something...

Fair enough, allot of their products are assembled in China, but with that being said, My 16" M1 Pro MacBook Pro is one of the best computers I've ever had or used for that matter!

Bullshit. They are kids with no special skills who come to the city to make some money, maybe find a girlfriend/boyfriend, maybe move up, maybe learn to cut hair then go back to the village, whatever. They get room and board and some cash, the labor laws of china are pretty good, better than the US, those guys and girls are no more "slave labor" than ranch hands were in the past. They are in fact far better off than the thousands of homeless that litter american cities and one hell of a lot happier.

I read that Apple was looking to move production of the MacBook Pro to the states. Wonder what that will do to the overall cost?
