It's awesome to see so many people participating. If Shiunbird fixes the email here soon I'll send out a mass email to notify more people.

This seems to be a forum where members show up fairly often, but tend to post less often. I suppose it's an artifact deriving from most of us not having any questions about these silicon beauties anymore.

Some of you were seeing things you weren't supposed to, this was as a result of a user group ID bug. The hidden forums are now hidden as properly designed.

Ha ha, I'm always seeing things that aren't there; took too much LDS in the 60s (Star Trek 4 paraphrase). As far as I can tell there are only 5 forums that are available to members only, in the premium user lounge. I'm pretty sure I've never seen anything here that I wasn't supposed to... 😛

RE: Choosing The Mousepad Design (Group Buy #1)
The poll is going to close later this month. In the lead is design number four as of this moment and I am totally fine with that as all of the designs are amazing and high quality. There might be some limited runs of other designs depending upon how well the primary design does when I get pre-orders open. Additionally for those who aren't interested in pre-orders I am going to order an overage of each design to sell at various computer festivals and also privately on the site here as well so you will have multiple opportunities to obtain this, but the success depends upon the number of confirmed orders and people that I can get to put their money behind it.

For those of you who haven't voted or had your say on this please do so within the next couple weeks.

The poll will be closing on the 17th. It looks like we're finishing with CB_HK's design in the lead. The shop will be opened at some point but I need to do some research on it first.

RE: Choosing The Mousepad Design (Group Buy #1)
The poll has been closed for over a week; I've been dealing with some personal issues and health issues regarding my pet so I've been very busy but I think that we're going to go with Shopify and I will post links here, and on various sites to it. I've already contacted some people who are outside of the community who are interested in this design.

Congratulations to CB_HK. I am very pleased with the final design and that everybody was active and participation and critiques about this. I wi'll follow up ;n the next steps which are:

1. Order samples to confirm fit/fitment and quality of prints.

2. Get the Shopify group buy site up.

Thus far I have confirmed that at least one community member is able to help with distribution in North America. I'm currently looking for a member who is interested in having direct shipments of products to him in Europe or the United Kingdom to reduce shipping costs for the final distribution to everybody.

I am not sure of the final times for manufacturer turnover but we're looking at somewhere in the realm of 60+90 days past the group buy. I am going to ship out orders by order date, and with tracking but not insurance unless the user requests it at purchase.

I am going to order about 10 to 20% overage to account for returns and lost items if there are any issues.
