Internal SGI Documents

Question  Internal SGI Documents
Does anyone have cool internal SGI docs? (that they have yet to scan?)

They're usually identifiable with 1XX-XXXX-XXX part numbers and say things like "SGI Confidential & Proprietary Information" and/or "For Internal Recipients Only"

Not looking for anything specific, but if there's something out there, curiosity's got me.

Thanks !

RE: Internal SGI Documents
I don't have a copy but I used to rent from a guy who worked at SGI during the fuel era and he had numerous service manuals that were internal to the company. Looking through them at the time I noticed that the Onyx2 had some interesting troubleshooting procedures. Can't remember any specifics

Yeah, the 108-xxxx-yyy documents. The ones I've seen are related to field hardware maintenance or systems diagnostics.

The Challenge/Onyx Diagnostics Roadmap is a well known one, but similar documents exist for the newer systems.

Since it references an L1 controller would you happen to have a section on some form of off-line flashing or emergency flashing or emergency chip replacement indication for L1 in that document?  Is there perhaps also a field routine for replacing a dead processor or changing the processor that has commands we’ve never seen?

I assume since the whole family is similar that may be shared information would be as well.

I would be eagerly interested in that one. Or any other later machine (O2? Fuel? Tezro?).

Just the thought about having the one for the Tezro in my hands makes me have heart palpitations.  Scream

That will be soooo cool if you will be able to share this document. I just got an Origin 300 that doesn't start. I'll post details in "Repairs" section.
