Cleaning up a crude .stl model of an O2 to hopefully produce a good model of an O2

RE: Cleaning up a crude .stl model of an O2 to hopefully produce a good model of an O2
Blender used to be such a pain. Now with 2.8+ I can just create a Maya like navigation for the 3d views and the WER Move/Rotate/Scale tools and the rest I leave native Blender.
I have actually made a few things with it, had to test drive it for work with Redshift to see if we could add artists to the roster if they could use Blender.

BTW, there is interest in this O2 shell on the SGI facebook page since someone is asking how to 3d Print one from an STL. I mentioned Retopo and pointed to this thread.

After doing the work shown above, Ive made a start on "normalising" the mesh of the front face of the machine: (This is taking hours to complete, and this image gives you some idea as to how i'm working to accomplish this)

Today I did a bit of work on the top right hand edge of the front face:

Then I messed around and gave it a bump texture and rendered it using the Cycles Render Engine just to see the result, and here it is:

Thanks! I still have to clean up the inner surfaces of the model, which are a complete mess!
