I've dug up one of my old .Xdefaults file where i remember to have this unset, since it's quite a resource hog:
Code:
Aterm*transparent: True
Aterm*shading: 30
Aterm*tinting: yellow
Aterm*font: 9x15
Aterm*saveLines: 500
Aterm*termName: xterm
Aterm*background: black
Aterm*foreground: white
Aterm*cursorColor: green
Aterm*geometry: 80x24
4Dwm*frameBorderWidth: 4
4Dwm*resizeBorderWidth: 4
4Dwm*Overview.clientDecoration: -title border
4Dwm*Overview.clientFunctions: resize -minimize -maximize
4Dwm*focusAutoRaise: true
4Dwm*autoRaiseDelay: 500
4Dwm*SG_DitherMidShadows: False
Toolchest*hideTitle: True
! For running SoftWindows with 4Dwm
# 4Dwm*SoftWindows*windowMenu: SoftWindowsMenu
# 4Dwm*keyBindings: SoftWindowsKeys
# *useOpenGL: True
# FileManager*ImdViewPanel.useOpenGL: True
# FileManager*panel.useOpenGL: True
# IconCatalog*ImdViewPanel.useOpenGL: True
# IconCatalog*panel.useOpenGL: True
# *ImdViewPanel.useOpenGL: True
# *panel.useOpenGL: True
I believe one of the "useOpenGL" option was the toggle for enabling/disabling the antialiasing, but i forgot exactly which one did that.
Check out these files if you can find an enabled option with "useOpenGL" , comment it out, and test:
Code:
~/.Xresources
~/.SGIresources
~/.4Dwmrc
/usr/lib/X11/app-defaults/4DWm
