That's true, but for many software products there are "non-nodelocked" license keys, as well. A FlexLM (or its predecessor NetLS) license server on a LAN can serve out a certain number of "concurrent" licenses to workstations as they are needed, which are not locked to the specific workstations that use the applications: they use the keyword HOSTID=ANY. For example, a site license could be generated for 10 concurrent instances of a compiler, even if there are 50 workstations with the compiler installed (or NFS mounted). When the 11th simultaneous user of the compiler tries to run it, he gets an error saying that all the licenses are busy being used, try again later.
Some of the "Haxforce" pirate licenses are site licenses set to "uncounted", which means no limit to concurrent users at the site.

I will most likely use a license generator for the Tezro. It's enough for me that it works on this machine. I want to dedicate it only to this

If you find a license generator for the Irix version of flame, please share it with us. Sadly, I don't think one exists. And coding up a license generator for a product as self-defensive as Flame is a decidedly non trivial task.

That's actually pretty simple and I think they're out there as well.

But I don't think that's all of it. I have an actual Discreet Tezro and it comes with a dongle. You'd need to patch that out as well. Pretty sure that has been done too.

But I've never had to do it so I don't have the answer

Let's hope it won't be so difficult to solve the matter. I've already seen the dongle, I have one for the Flint in the Octane. Anyway for the Flame on the Tezro, let's see what I can do over the weekend.
