Going away for a few days.

Going away for a few days.
Hey guys,

I was involved in a collision on the 29th and received minor injuries, and my vehicle is likely totaled. I am going through a lot physically and emotionally right now and ask that people give me some space for a few days. If I don't respond or read right away, that's why.

I'll update everyone after I visit a doctor in the coming days and get my head cleared.

Just an update, I'm okay. I'm dealing with some pain, and need to see a doctor, but that's been delayed due to living in a rural area.

Insurance is active on the case.

Hey @raion,

Sorry to hear this bud, glad you got out, some don't, try to remember that bud (even if it totally sucks).

Not to compare but I was involved in a karting incident at the weekend, I appreciate that sounds lame but those things can get to 70kmph if you're on it. Anyway, I lost control, hit another kart, was thrown from my kart landed on my back and skidded about 5m or so until I hit the wall. Lay there, opened my eyes, it was nighttime. Looked at the stars, smiled, got up, laughed and went home. Last time I had the same feeling was this one time (in band camp) I was on my way to work, lost control of my 750cc bike going in too hot at a roundabout (I don't think you Amercian guys have any of those). Don't remember much but the bike landed about 20m from my location. Apparently the eye witness report said the bike hit the curb (sidewalk) and flew off one way while I soared through the air like a bird without wings until I landed on my crash helmet then bounced along. Woke up on my back with the ambulance guys talking to me. Looked up at the sky, saw clouds, laughed. I kinda got used to thinking that accidents I can walk away from were sent to wake me up rather than beat me down. A lot of accidents don't end well, I've lost a few good friends to bad luck and bad timing. I'm sure it sucks and listening to this crap might sound rather obtuse or unsupportive but I do wish you a speedy recovery..

Shit comes and shit goes but if you're alive, crack a smile bro. Not today man, not today. 2020 eh, what a shit box!

Take care my friend. You'll soon be back at it.

Smol update:

Treatment is going well, thankfully doing non-invasive chiropractor adjustments.

My car is totaled for sure, just waiting for that to play out. There's a potential lawsuit on the horizon, so I can't say much more until then. Once everything's settled, I don't mind recounting what happened.
