Treatment is going well, thankfully doing non-invasive chiropractor adjustments.
I'm not a big fan of 'alternative medicine' but I the chiropractor has rescued my back a couple of times already. Sure hope it does you good.

Get well & stay safe.

Ugh, that sounds like a nightmare no matter which side of the lawsuit you're on.  I hope things work out for you without the need for a stressful and time-consuming trial.

I'm doing better this week. Things are still hurting but better than they were. Insurance is still in process.

RE: Going away for a few days.
Chiropractors can be great...if you use them correctly. For most people, they way they encourage you to work with them isn't he way you should use them. A lot (not all) chiropractors want to keep seeing you for years to collect that sweet sweet money. However, When you run into a great chiropractor, you find out there is secret menu option 'B', that is...go to them, discuss the pains and troubles, work with them to identify the exact muscle and nerve regions. If it's an injury that's a spasm or tightness or nerve pinching (not caused by spine/discs, but by incorrectly healed/trauma to muscles).

They will treat you and then you ask for the recommended stretches, they will have a 3-5 different stretches you can do at home to focus on the muscle region that needs to be pulled/stretched apart from healed/spasm or that's clamping down on like the sciatic nerve (me, this one). I went twice, then did the stretches for 3 weeks, cured. I've had family members do the same.

If you have genuine back issues (actual alignment, chipped discs, etc..), that's the different ball game. But I've only been to the chiropractor because of muscle issues that later clamped around a nerve or tightness that led to issues. Those are all muscles that didn't heal right from some kind of trauma. Those are the ones you can get stretches for under the advice of a chiropractor. Best money I ever spent and WAY cheaper than a "doctor" that wouldn't have helped to solve the issue!

Without getting into my medical situation, the injuries to my back are relatively minor and I am mostly seeing chiro for adjustments to help manage the pain noninvasively.

How are you getting on kiddo?

Can you loft an Indy?

I can lift fine, it's just affecting my ability to do certain fine-motor tasks and to do any "hard labor"

If I were to try to lift an Origin 2000, for instance, instant back throw-out.

RE: Going away for a few days.
Ok, so the dust is mostly settled.

I was involved in a multiple car crash, and the police declared me and most of the other drivers not at fault. However, the offender's insurance co blackballed me. I sought arbitration, but unfortunately that's not gonna happen. So I'm out a car, and currently just wrapping up the total-loss stuff on the loan so I can get that discharged.

I've suffered whiplash, and other minor injuries. I'm fine, that's all getting taken care of. But the situation has been less than fortunate. I will not divulge further info until the case involving the offending driver (He's facing criminal charges) is over with, as I'm a witness to the case.

I do not currently possess a car, and I'm trying to get that all figured out.
