Anyone have or know where to get the old versions of Sun Workshop that will at least run on Solaris 2.4?

I'll check when I get home from work. I believe I may have a version that will work on 2.4. Now, you'll need to find a license or crack the FlexLM licensing they use. While I have valid keys they are challenge and response style keys. You need an activation key from Sun/Oracle (and they won't generate them anymore, I've asked). There are perpetual demo keys for some versions, but I can't find them online anymore. The user "escimo" on here has them I believe, but I haven't been able to contact them about this.

So I have SunSoft Workshop 1.0 (SunOS 4.1.x), SunSoft Workshop 2.0 (Solaris 2.2+), and Sun Workshop 3.0 (Solaris 2.4+). Will any of those work for you?

"Sun WorkShop for Solaris 2.x" (SunSoft WorkShop 4.0) is still compatible with SunSoft's Solaris 2.4 for SPARC and x86. The media mistakenly was versioned as "WorkShop 3.0" within the DEMO license files. The media including a cluster product titled "Sun Visual WorkShop C++ 3.0". Maybe somebody made a typo. Who cares because it works. The oldest media I own, which is labeld as "SunSoft WorkShop Developer Products" has Volume 3, Number 2 (V3N2). Don't remeber if this is the case with the copy of V3N1. Have to check if I'm back at home.

Sorry for the necro. The two Archive links that were posted are now dead as of Oct 2021, I was wondering if someone managed to grab these and would be fine with re-uploading them? I'm only able to find Sun Workshop 4 (V5N1) for Solaris 2.x and 1.x still on Archive org, but no copies of Workshop 5 which Sun had released the non-expiring demo key for, nor the older Version 3 or earlier. Seems a lot of the workstation software from the 90s is unarchived or slowly disappearing from the internet now.

Demo Licenses for "WorkShop 3.0" are ment to be "Sun WorkShop for Solaris 2.x" with C/C++Compilers in version 4.2 alias "Sun WorkShop 4.0", also containing cluster product "Sun Visual WorkShop C++3.0".

Alternative: search for "tenox pdp-11" to get in touch with WorShop 5.0 archive.

"WorkShop for Solaris 1.x" with C 3.0.1 / C++ 4.0.1 is labeled "Pro/SPARCWorks 3.0.1" but tried a domain lic to get them running in a VM. Until now never tried the WS4 demo lic with SunOS 4.1.[34].
