Could you supply more information, like some photographs of the device? It doesn't sound like it is a SGI product, but a device from a third party company

I think he's referring to the calibration 'dongle' you get with a 1600SW screen:

RE: ColorLock hardware questions
In the interest of scientific investigation, I've taken my CL apart Smile

But I need some help, in what order do the three filters go back? Mine fell out.

I only have a very simple multimeter, not sure I can measure anything on this? Let me know and I will try.

RE: ColorLock hardware questions
JacquesT, oh... now you should wait until I'll disassemble my own. Very simple multimeter can't measure capacitors. I have two special measurement devices for this. I planned to return to this topic in next 6-10 months, that's why I asked if somebody interested at all, should I publish here or not (after Nekochan dead I was unsure about aliveness of this forum). But if you lost proper order of filters, that means I try to schedule my processes regarding this device earlier, shifting other tasks.

No problem, it's been in my drawer for 4 months and not used. I only used it a couple of times then put it away. Let me know otherwise I'l lput it back together and try and sort out the filters...There should only be few possible solutions, one of them has to be correct.

Edit - the Colorlock works fine with filters placed orange (red) closest to aperture, then blue then green.
