O2+ R12k 400Mhz board schematics/BOM or component value?
I am working on the repair of my O2+, I found out that a few components "fell" from the cpu board ... strange stuff, the machine seems otherwise quite clean. See picture :

I already replaced C636 which was also missing, copied the value (1.2 uF) from neighbor C689, which I hope is right.

I need to replace that C555, how can I get its value ? Is there any schematics of that CPU board ? Or could somebody that owns the same CPU board have a quick look and tell me what is C555 ?

Am I the only one with that strange issue ? Already capacitors went MIA in my board ...

Thanks a lot !

I had a similar thing happen to my R12K module for my O2!

It seems that some of the components found on the periphery of the board come into contact with the mounting bracket when the CPU is secured into position. I don't know if this is true for all revisions of the module though.

I managed to get my module working by re-soldering some of the components that fell off and pulling some others off of a donor R10K module.

Some of those caps are decoupling caps, so their values aren't critical. (I got my module up and running by replacing them with caps of the same size and colour that I pulled from an old R10K module, and it now works.)

Here's the O2's hinv:

OK, thanks, at least I am not the only one. OK, I guess I can try putting another 1.2uF capacitor in C555 ? Glad I ordered a few.

It seems only capacitor fall from the board, no resistor ? And I guess no schematics available ?

Unfortunately there are no schematics available.

I don’t think it’s a 102?

Thanks for the pic ! C555 seriously looks like a capacitor, not a resistor  Wink If anybody has a clue of its value ? Or would anybody have a "for parts" r10k/r12k cpu board ready to exchange with Swiss chocolate ?
