Hi chulofiasco,

if your problem is recovery of L2 bricked from 6.5.30 update then PM me.

EDIT:

- If you have set of Numalink'ed Chassis, then link them up (lower 4 Numalink ports have USB Built-In) , ideally you will also have an L2, so then plug Numalink USB into L2
- Telnet into L2 and set the L1 to default bank (flash default ..) that you don't want to uodate and reboot (reboot_l1) all the L1s
- Boot into IRIX and flash all at once using flashsc (you can do direct update to the target version as long as you use the flashsc version that come with the L1 version)
- I would just use the last patch unless you have some specific reason not to
- then reset the L1 default bank to new target and reboot the L1s
- Once you are up and running again in IRIX I suggest you also run the PROM flash to ensure all your machines have the same PROM version.

NOTE: There are 3 ways to communicate with L1: via serial port on machine, via L2 with connection to machine via USB, using "l1cmd" from IRIX

Cheers from Oz,
