Sharing a CD-ROM over a network to carry out an IRIX install on another SGI?
Is it possible to network my Tezro and Octane in such a way, that I can give the Octane access to the Tezro's CD-ROM over the network, in order to carry out an IRIX install?

If so, how would this be accomplished?

other than a network install via SGI tools ( i mean specifically sgi-to-sgi network install, roboinst comes to mind, but I could have it wrong), I'm not aware of how to accomplish this.

Export Tezro's CD mountpoint via NFS, then mount the export on the other machine. Should work.
