For the past 5 years, Defaultroute has provided hosting for more of our... space challenged stuff. 

We have plans to migrate to a newer, faster service located in the central US. 

Affected domains:

irixnet.org (NOT THE FORUM, THE ROOT DOMAIN)
*files.irixnet.org domains
siliconimage.irixnet.org
contrib.irixnet.org
Other non-forum domains. 

Our FTP will not be restored at this time. 

Downtime should be minimal, some domains may end up temporarily offline due to migrating some disused stuff into S3 for less stress on us financially. 

I want to emphasize that DefaultRoute kept things running here for a long time and helped me out immensely. He's a good asset to the site, and deserves his respect for sticking with us, through the bad and good times.

What remains on the old server:

hpux
irixnet.org

Some backups and storage as well.

There's a nonzero chance that hpux and sgifiles may go offline temporarily if we run up against deadlines, but those are seldom used at the moment.

Silicon Image is being moved carefully and with regard that it's an active image host.

Just to let people know, Silicon Image is kinda held together with duct tape and bailing wire.

This means the server running all this is PHP 7.4 still basically. I'll be unable to move it to PHP 8.x myself.

That also means I can't setup the TechPubs wiki, btw, which needs 8.2 for proper operations. That's why rebuilding that is a WIP, i'm a bit limited.
