That's not the problem. The problem was I got complacent and was relying on hosting provider solutions for backups. When those failed because I was basically unable to attend to anything for the first 6 months of the year because I was forced to get a terrible job that was killing me, I was left in a situation with no data and a provider who offered no apologies.
I'm rebuilding the site now and taking precautions against this in the future but I don't need people telling me how to do this because I already know how to fix this from happening again. It was an unfortunate occurrence but thankfully nothing of serious value was lost. I have all the images, I've got the means to recreate the wiki, and everything else I can rebuild from historical archives.
