I bought my Octane2, dual CPU 600Mhz, for 400 dollars US in 2007. The only reason I bought it was because the Powers That Be at my place of employ had come to the decision that we could transition to PC's for all our workstation applications, and I missed my SGI.

The rule isn't up for debate. I'm not going to change my mind; I don't mind mild commentary, but we aren't arguing over the specifics further.
