USB to PS2 convertor for Keyboard Octane?
For some reason my SGI keyboard CTRLs don't work anymore. Was wondering if anyone has had success using a USB to PS2 converter for SGI like the Octane or o2?

Or do I need to Ebay me a new PS2 keyboard?

Thanks.

If you have the rubber-dome keyboard, check to see if you have debris like crumbs or little hairs stuck in the membrane. If you have the microswitch keyboard check if there is corrosion on the circuit board.

I have a bunch of PS2 keyboards if you need one. Dell, SGI and IBM. I will get a list together when I get home from work and post it here.

I have 2 dell PS2, 1 SGI new style with some wear on the keys, 2 IBM 1 with the removable cord looks mint and 1 with an attached cord that has the outside rubber cracking but works.

BTW most 2003-2006 era MS keyboard and mice sets for PS/2 seem to work just fine for me. So buying a cheap (NOS) MS PS/2 set from the early 2000's is also an option.
