Latest purchase?
RE: Latest purchase?
I snagged this on eBay yesterday. Its nice when you can get your hands on a one-stop shop! (With this and the coming Indigo2, I now have enough new toys to play with for the rest of the year and the video's will follow!)

I DON'T PLAN ON BUYING ANYTHING MORE THIS YEAR!

RE: Latest purchase?
I was too excited and forgot to take pictures, but I just received (and installed): 256MB of RAM, a 180MHz R5000, and a R5000 compatible PROM for my Indy. Now I just need to actually get IRIX to install. Tongue

Got my Monotech NuXT board today! It's a brand-new Micro ATX turbo XT clone.

Specs:
NEC V20 @ 9.55MHz (Software switchable to 7.16MHz and 4.77MHz)
Intel 8087 Co-Processor
832K RAM (640K Conventional + 192K UMB)
Trident TVGA9000i SVGA Video (w/512K Video RAM)
4x 8-Bit ISA Expansion Slots
Onboard Floppy Controller and Compact Flash slot
1x Serial Port
PS/2 Keyboard Port

I've got an AST I/O card on the way to add Parallel/Game Port/Battery Backed Clock, and I need to source a (hopefully) beige case. It would be nice to put an AdLib (or clone thereof) in it too.

Yay! Well done, those are becoming rather rare!

Have purchased a NAD C 521i CD player from around 2003. I spent the evening with a glass of wine and soldering iron making interconnect cables... Smile

RE: Latest purchase?
My Indigo2 MAX IMPACT R10000 arrived safely this morning. But I’m going to be giving some night flying instruction this evening, so I’ll only be able to take a good look at it much later this evening.

I have unpacked it and it did arrive from Germany in perfect shape!

I look very forward to cleaning it up and installing IRIX onto it.
