i have a SGI Octane, one hp C3600 Visualize
and , i'm noob
my octane was in 6.5.22, and my friend @silicon burn recommend me to update on 6.5.30 for use latest software
but
i tried some method, but don't run :/
the latest try was booterizer via rpi pi, but it crash
i burn cd file but, the octane don't boot on
i have external scsii cd drive, but i don't was able to have one drive on workench, i have 7 :/ and my cd seems to be unreadable

if a person can help me, its so great

sorry for my english, and , i don't have time to google translate , my wife is near me on sofa, and they eyes grown

i have also a hp visualize c 3600 with a linux install, but i forgot password, and more later, i would like resinstall a fresh hp-ux on it

i have also other retro machine...

Welcome.
You need to set the SCSI ID number of the external drive to something besides 0. A common choice is 4.

Thank's, but i use à internal scssi cd rom drive on a externat dat reader from sun, I dont have find the scsi selector knob
