Last SPP for HP DL380 Gen5
Hi SGI'ers and HP'ers,

I have an old HP DL380 Gen5 Rack Mount Server and am looking to get the final SPP for this machine (Service Pack for Proliant 2014.06.0).

The DVD Image is: SPP2014060.2014_0618.4.iso

I want to get the final version so I can do flash to being machine up to final firmware.

Please PM me if you can help.

Thank you from Oz,

jwhat/John

Hello John,

Moved this to the correct category. Proliants are x86-based systems, so they don't belong in the category for Itanium, Alpha and PA RISC.

I'm the system admin of this site. Private security technician, licensed locksmith, hack of a c developer and vintage computer enthusiast.

Technical problems should be sent my way.

5 mins of Googling, just go around https error, don't install yadex, just hit download...starts downloading through normal HTTP:

Cheers!

Hi Weblacky,

that is interesting as I got the SPP for DL380 Gen6 (I have one of these as well) from the brainattic site no problems but the link to the last SPP pack for DL380 Gen5 fails... hence my posting to see if someone had this.

If you can get SPP 2014.06.0 could you possibly download and re-upload it to somewhere else and I can try from there.

I am referring to this one: "Last HP Service Pack for ProLiant supporting G5 servers (2014.06.0)"

I have problem with HPE site where I cannot access this at all.... it seems there might be a possible routing problem with my ISP.

NOTE: I also tried Torrent I found, but it ran all night and only got to 1/4 of download and it looks like it is downloading the wrong SPP image...

Thanks from Oz,

jwhat/John.

yeah I didn't download it all but the download did start from the Yandex HTTP download...with the filename you wanted.

I've now downloaded it from yandex and I'm uploading it to a gDrive share...but with my connection it will take about 2 hours to upload. I'll PM you a link to the share. Hopefully you use google and can do a Google drive copy into your region for faster download.
