Yeah libdcl is the 2nd most important software development to come along in a while. And of course the Master of Hamm is behind it, he helps all IRIX users everywhere with his genius.

Daniel is a good developer but I think the same sort of benefit is possible without being as aggressive with replacing headers with GPLv3 ones, which is why I made libxg to act as a lighter alternative to GNUlib and dicl.

of course this probably isn't necessary for your specific use case but that's what I'm going to be using and recommending people use libxg. it is more or less complete as it is but I'm going to add some more functions in particular a getentropy implementation. I need this for libressl.

So your FTP account is down. Dreamhost huh? I used to work for their competitor, A2 Hosting. I suggest maybe doing an unmanaged VPS with them or another provider:

Though they use OpenVZ, so if you don't like ancient Linux kernels then that could be an issue. Either way, I think you could probably get something more flexible for cheaper than with Dreamhost, as someone who worked in the hosting industry since about 2012.

They are 2 downloads:

What one should i choose ?.
i see one contains a bunch of RPMs and the other have a filesystem like directory structure.

There will be a Tardist installable via inst next week for RSE b6. Just making sure there are no last moment gotchas that will require any fixes.

When the b6 tardist is out you can download that via FTP and install via inst, you will have the same setup as grabbing the releases from github and untarring and rpm -Uvh'ing them onto your system.
