Damn, that's the last keyboard model I don't have...but not interested at this time. Shame that it's really just a logo/marking change. Personally I like the other 4D ones better because they have the SGI logo on them. But you know...gotta collect them all :-)

Nope, entirely different animal. The Personal IRIS keyboard is sloped (check next to the keys at the edges). The material of the cover cannot be mistaken for anything but plastic when you see one.

The 4D keyboard is all but flat, and the cover could be mistaken for diecast metal (it's still plastic). the whole thing is very heavy, the bottom is metal. I'm sure it could be used to crack a skull without too much damage to the keyboard.

I've got both so I could take some more / better pictures eventually.

Oh, your right. It’s doesn’t have the great curves nor sweeping key set. I thought it looked like it did in the closeups.
