Has the USB serial problem with Big Sur been sorted yet?

Has the USB serial problem with Big Sur been sorted yet?
I'm about to upgrade my systems software to Big Sur, but I use the Mac Pro to start my Tezro, so I really don't want to add a windows driven laptop into the equation in order to get this machine going in the future!!!!

So has this driver issue been sorted out?

Sometime this year, I also hope to upgrade this machine to the 12-core option and more than likely bootcamp it with an external NVIDIA RTX card for rendering purposes, as this will be more cost effective than moving over to the latest Mac Pro at this point.

This is not for Apple to sort out, the question is "has the 3rd party created a driver using the new framework". I have no idea what serial adapter you're using, but if I were you I'd just buy one that doesn't need a 3rd party driver. Then it just works:

This one is a Sweex CD003, and probably 10 years old. It's just another el cheapo Prolific PL2303 adapter.

NB: I'm happy to report that BlackMagic has released Big Sur compatible drivers for the Thunderbolt mini-monitor and mini-recorder. That's what was keeping me back.

Well, maybe it works after all? Mine does:

Otherwise, buy something with an FTDI chip. See : https://tips.graphica.com.au/macos-big-sur-rs232/

It's exactly the same as yours, so it should work then!

I'll only be able to determine this once Big Sur's installed!
