DYNA BLASTER "Bomberman" Played in DosBax on an SGI Tezro
I had to play around with the DosBox config file a bit to get rid of the lag in the sound effects, as they were lagging quite a bit initially!

I'll produce another video tomorrow showing the adjustments that I made to the DosBox config file. (I'll show you the process that I went through in making the changes that I made and their effects.)

How does functionality & performance compare with softwindows? Just in case recent developments have exceeded what was commercially available back then.

I've managed to load proper Creative Sound-Blaster drivers as well as a proper display driver in Windows 3.11 within DosBox, and this gives me far better compatibility with the software I've installed.

I simply haven't ben able to get the sound drivers to work properly in Soft Windows and the display driver's also a bit of a mess!

DosBox is by far the better option in my opinion!
