RE: SCSI2SD V6 Help.
All SGI systems have the controller at SCSI ID 0. If you have another device at this ID (which your setup does), you will get many errors. Customarily the primary system disk is at ID 1 (although you can change the boot location environment variable) and a CDROM is at ID 4.

You can find my SCSI2SD settings on my GitHub, which have been tested on an Indy, Octane, Indigo2 and Iris Indigo. The most recent firmware, 6.3.1, seems to work fine.

Also, if you're planning on using those CDROMs to mount SGI EFS images, I believe you'll need to set the block size to 512.

RE: SCSI2SD V6 Help.
Thank you for the configuration file. I figured out what was causing the multiple listing of the SCSI devices was because I left the USB plugged in and once I removed it it was fixed.

Thanks again.

RE: SCSI2SD V6 Help.
do let us know how your Indigo works with the SCSI2SD v6, ok? I'm possibly interested in getting one.
You can even create a new thread for that if you like.

How much faster is it than a traditional SCSI disk?

RE: SCSI2SD V6 Help.
The hard drive that my Indy shipped with was moving data at about 1MB/s. The SCSI2SD board moves data at about 5.5MB/s. You might get different results with different systems.

That's awesome! Thanks for the feedback.

I noticed that on older versions of IRIX, like 5.3, there is no 'diskperf'. Are you running 6.5.22 on your Indy Lady Serena Kitty?
