Unless you have a fetish for CD's, you could just go to this site's ftp ....

Thank you. I already looked there and I could not find the Fortran 77 and FORTRAN 90/95 front end compilers there, both of which I have been looking for. Did I miss something?

The MIPSpro 7.3 and 7.4.something should include all compilers.

Yes, should be. (But I didn't download the ones on this site to make sure no one took the fortran parts out, people do weird things and I am limited in data downloads. Up to OP to check but ...)

My understanding is that those compilers aren't currently included in the packages on the FTP. The development packages in the Booterizer project (https://github.com/unxmaal/booterizer) do include the Fortran compilers. The appropriate packages could then be accessed over the network for installation.

The easy way for future reference is to download them and see Smile

I'm not going to because I have a limited data plan and they are several hundred megglebytes, but easy enough to check. For myself, files with similar names did include the fortran pieces but it's always possible whoever made those tarfiles took them out.

btw, there's two sets of compiler tarfiles on this site - or at least on the larbob mirror. Not sure if they are different ? They are in two different places, one set under /misc and the other under /irixdev. Possibly that could be re-organized ?

Moreorless we only package the compilers for C and C++ on usftp.irixnet.org due to limitations of diskspace. That server has a very limited disk space and it's performance goes down the tubes if I fully load the box, so I need to keep about 15% data free.

I'm also not in control of any mirrors like Larbob's or anything. You would need to contact him for help with that.

Technical problems should be sent my way.

RE: Looking for MIPSpro Fortran 77 Compiler 7.4
I've got MIPSpro Fortran-90 7.2, on SGI CD 812-0402-007, date stamped September 1997. If anyone wants that, just let me know and I'll put it in the usual location.

EDIT: It says it's for IRIX 6.3 and 6.4, don't know if it will work on 6.5, haven't tried it.

Hrm, apparently IRIX 6.2 as well:

Silicon Graphics Software Release
This CD contains the following products:

ftn90_fe: Fortran 90 Front-end, 7.2 on irix 6.2
ftn90_fe: Fortran 90 Front-end, 7.2 on irix 6.3/6.4

Project: Temporarily lost at sea
Plan: World domination! Or something...
