The question is not clear... Irix can boot from removable??? In this guide say yes: https://www.4crawler.com/zip.jaz.shtml

But on all my tests (with indigo2 and indy) boot from jaz/zip is impossible! Simply the prom don’t read the device.

Anyone have do this?
