In the early 90s I used to model and animate in alias power animator and TDI EXPLORE on a sgi 4d 35. Are any of those boxes still running? Is it possible to get one running those packages?

Yes, some members do still have them and they still pop up from time to time.

I'm dusting off my 4D25TG with a mind to sell it soon.

Be aware though that they may fetch an off-putting price. If the software experience is more what you're after, something like an Indy might be more reasonable.

I think the TDI software is from the IRIX 3.x era, in which case it won't work on an Indy.
