Hi

Anyone have the Service / Repair Manual for SGI 1600SW?

I got one for free but it will not "talk" to the SGI O2, the 1600 blinks yellow but the O2 does not recognise that its connected.

Any suggestions?

Also have a look at the Niktec website, they still stock and sell parts for the 1600SW. At the bottom of some of the listed parts you'll find take-apart and replacement guides, quite useful. I wish I could buy a replacement lamp assembly but it would cost the earth to ship to the UK.

Thanks! Now for the fun problem with troubleshooting why the monitor it not detected by the SGI O2... :-)

Check the flat panel adapter is seated properly on the motherboard, mine clicks in with an audible 'click'.
