TenDRA on IRIX was discussed on mailing lists about a decade ago.

Besides that, I know lcc had a port of it.
good news! i verified tenDRA does still support irix and put links for it. if you didn't mention it maybe nobody would ever have known, because searches pulled up nothing for me even when i tried searching it directly. this is why i hope more people will contribute to the list, we will lose the software when its forgotten and search engines aren't indexing it even when pages for it are still up on the web. i found some additional irix software while looking for this thing too, i didn't add it to the list yet. i sent aurxenon a msg about pcc, thanks raion.

aurxenon doesn't have PCC anymore, it's gone.

No worries if I have more information that comes to my mind I will let you know. I appreciate what you're doing, regardless of your methods so I will do my best to work with you. If you have questions I can either answer them or people that I know might be able to answer

RE: best freeware and nekoware?
i found some awesome full version demos of fortran compilers that use flexLM if anyone knows how to fix that problem! they're abandoned and not sold anymore.
and i found 3 prolog implementations, and some other stuff.
i found a ton of forgotten irix stuff used by professional scientists/universities, some are programming APIs, i didn't list them yet.

theres a ton of nekoware stuff, i will try to list what it is and does, but since there's so much of it i'm gonna have to let the ai write the list out.
i'm gonna feed the ai all the filenames and see if it can generate the proper name and description.
i will post the list here and if you guys can check it and see if the ai made any mistakes that's the best we can do.

i'm guessing most people dont' even realize how much was/is actually available since they probably only routinely use a few certain things.
many things ended up being forgotten about or lost. so i'm searching the web and everyones memory for forgotten stuff.
the more languages supported the better. never know when someone might find it useful or use it to port apps to irix with it.
