FYI this is a thread specifically asking people to reply with their interest and how many they want. But if you want units for older workstation models, Glitch would happily make them for you. I am not someone with special access to him, I just emailed from his website and started a conversation. If you really want the reason for focusing on these particular two models, two reasons: 1. o2 & octane are the most widely owned by users and 2. luckily they use the same rtc - hence a good case for finding interest in a bulk order. Sorry I didn't intend to have a tone.

How much did this unit cost you? I agree if it's reasonable, then I'd be interested.

According to Glitch:

"Should be like the other modules, $10 for the repair board (includes crystal, battery socket, and battery...crystal and battery socket installed, drop of epoxy to hold the crystal in place, back trimmed and filed so it'll sit flat). I don't have any spares to do pre-made modules but if folks want to send them to me I'll refurb and test them for $25. "
