Here's the semi- finished product, as it will take about two weeks for the paint to properly cure, before I can carry out a final flatting, polish and assembly. (This I will only be able to do when I'm next in Cape Town! Towards the end of the year!)

Awesome. Looks amazing. I think after buffing out all of the scuffs on my Onyx2 maybe I should apply clear coat to it to give it some extra sheen and UV protection.

@Stormy,@Raion and @Intuition, Thanks very much guys for your positive comments regarding this project of mine! Smile I can't wait to get back to Cape Town to complete it!

Theres still lots of work to do regarding the final finishing and assembly!!! (I will post pics once it's complete.)

I'd normally advocate preserving the original color as best as possible, but I have to admit, this looks great. Almost an Onyx4-styled Onyx2.
