Octane backplane ?battery?
I'm in the process of refurbing my Octane's fans (the 92mm sounds like a very angry cat during startup) so I pulled the backplane frontplane to R&R the 60mm xbow fan too. (sidenote: happy to do a writeup of these fans for the wiki once complete).

On the back of the backplane (i.e. the side that faces into the computer) I noticed an item that looks like a small battery just above the "System ID" label. Photos of the mystery component are in the linked imgur album. I did check for voltage across the two sides and got a solid zero.

Any idea what this is?

Ninja edit -- And apparently it's called the frontplane, not the backplane.
