what I did was go to the command monitor Write this:

boot -f dksc(X,Y,8)sashARCS
boot -f dksc(X,Y,7)stand/fx.ARCS --x

and after this I got several options I chose the AUTO and I wonder if I wanted to erase the disk, I accepted and deleted the disk and I reinstalled IRIX 6.5.5 and this time it worked
