I'm not in any huge rush for it to get delivered, as long as it's not a months-long wait or anything.

I noticed in some message or other that they are washable.  Do you have any recommendations on how best to wash them?  E.g., I have a silk bag for throwing delicate items in the washing machine.  Would that be in any way recommended?

Thank you for the offer to have some for me at VCF Midwest.  That looks like a fun event (which I didn't even know existed until your message)!  Unfortunately, I most likely cannot attend this year, but I will try to see if I can attend in the future.  Reading about the "free pile" on the event website (https://vcfmw.org/faq/) has got me excited that someone might benefit from a few "for parts only" Apple laptops, at least one verifiably counting as vintage, etc., I've accumulated.
