Traded a pile of MIDI gear I haven't been using and picked up an Epiphone version of the Gibson Thunderbird bass (the proper neck-through model, not the cheap-ass bolt-on one.) Loving it

Ooh, lucky. I've always loved the Thunderbird, but I can't justify the cost. I was seriously considering the Tokai copies at one point (apparently they're almost as good). That said, I'm good for basses anyway. I've got a late 70's Peavy T-40 and a late 60's (I think) Teisco short scale bass.
