My SGI adventures recently have consisted of playing with my Octanes and feeling sad that my purple Indigo 2 power supply is dead, with a sprinkle of living vicariously through Ebay. A teal Indigo2 came up and looked reasonably loaded, but "untested" so I submitted an offer and a few days later the following machine showed up:

The system is in great condition and is ex-Purdue. From what I can tell, it was decommissioned and stuck in a closet. The plastic is a bit yellow, but otherwise intact. After some adventures with re-seating cards and deoxit, as well as a battle with my KVM, it fires up reliably. I had 4x32mb sitting around from a poorly described Ebay listing, so it now has 256mb.

My main question concerns the interplay between the Galileo and Cosmo boards. From my reading, it seems that there should be an external cable to jumper between the Galileo and Cosmo boards, is that correct? Does anyone have a picture of this cable?

I have an IndyCam coming which it seems I can plug directly into the Galileo or Cosmo (if properly set up). I know that other breakout boxes/cables exist, but are getting incredibly rare.
