I typically try to do all my own car maintenance, changing oil/transmission fluid; trivial, replacing brakes; painful, replacing struts; extremely painful, replacing alternator, not too bad, replacing starter, also not too bad. Rotating tires, not bad at all but by far the most extremely boring. 😁
