I got two Arduino WAN 1310 with LoRa and spent the whole weekend (20 hours coding straight until my head hurt so much I couldn't keep ly eyes opened) building an encrypted protocol using the crypto chip included with it and dealing with radio collisions, CRC, packet signatures, ACK and retransmissions.

Now I have the foundation for a remote doorbell at my father's farm.

Truly great fun, I recommend!
