just seeing that shipping damage make my blood boil !

The Fuel case is pretty strong metal, so they must have given it a couple of nice drops.

Actually it's the same metal as a 90's PC case, soft!  I can bend it really easily with small tools, scratches easily too, but yeah, takes force on a single point.  I swear Tezro has thicker metal. The only reason this happened was it was fully loaded (not an empty case) and it's own weight did the bending on drop around all the foam padding that was placed in it. I think UPS uses dolly/hand trucks with metal rails/bars instead of a flat metal foot, so I think everytime they threw it on a metal hand truck, it hit the center pole and bent.  You do have to wonder at the force required, yeah, considering there is so many hard dents.

I agree...I wasn't loving it.  But Fuel has almost no plastics to break, and the dents seem to have missed the vital organs, I hope.  My biggest fear is cracking solder joints from the sudden deceleration on impact.  If it's all metal work...I can totally deal with it, if the electronics got damaged, I'll be fairly sad.  But I'm going to attempt it anyway..I got a good deal on this thing and I'm not returning it.  Moving forward!

I'm buying a used FSP750-80EPN PSU and the famed ATX adapter right now to short cut this process.  If the darn thing boots to PROM and detects stuff...I'm golden..Unlikely that V10 will malfunction if PROM screen works (not 100% certain).  Then I can load Irix and do diags to be more certain on condition.

If that passes, then I can disassemble the entire thing and get working on metal bending!  If it has ENV disease, bring it on...I'm ready!  if it has something else wrong with the mainboard...OH GAWD NO

Actually...because it IS a PC case, it's all riveted together..if the boards work...I'll just empty it and drill out the rivets and then I can better access the metal parts and bend/straighten everything. Riveting tools are easy to get here and you won't really see them (even if left unpainted). So that's likely my plan if it's all metal work, separate the panels, fix them, rivet them back together...only on a Fuel!
