Blackmagic Davinci Resolve Speed Editor. Actually, I got the combo deal of a lifetime Davinci Resolve Studio license (dongle) plus the Speed Editor. I may have some Discreet options available on IRIX, but for most of my editing I prefer Resolve. And I can really do without the noise of FC disk arrays.

I intend to use my HP Z600 for Resolve rather than my MBP (more CPU power, big screens) but I need to get a half-decent GPU with at least 4GB of VRAM (preferably 8GB) first. And to buy a GPU in 2021 is ... difficult. Heck, even an old GTX 1070 sells 2nd hand for nearly what it cost new in 2016
