i am proud to announce that i am now a member of the sgi family
btw. yes it's the year 2018!
since cebit 1994 i always wanted one and now i got one (for almost nothing : 6,50€ on ebay + i had to drive 50 km to get it)
couldn't try it out yet, so far i pulled out the boards and power supply to clean but i'm still waiting for my monitor. (btw. if anyone has a 13w3 adapter to sell??)
the machine i got : it's an original green octane 1, but it looks like the specs had been upgraded to octane 2. all ram slots are populated (2GB) and there is a vpro v6 in it
any suggestions how to start and what to think of before turning it on the first time??
