Do you have any idea what the DG5-8 cost as my system is fitted with one?

The price for the DG5-8 is an exchange price, presumably you have to return the $10K DG5-2...
Of course this doesn't mean the real world price for a DG5-8 was $23K. Nobody paid list price, and certainly not to return the part to get an upgrade to 8 channels.
