Just picked up an Indigo2 R10K. Want NTSC video out.
I just bought an Indigo2 R10K Solid Impact from a guy in town. I want to install the SDI video in/out board. But apparently there are two video boards that are compatible with Impact graphics, with different part numbers. Is one analog and the other digital? Hopefully someone here can steer me in the right direction!

Taking a look at Ian Mapleson's Indigo2 parts page (http://www.sgidepot.co.uk/sgidepot/parts...ml#INDIGO2), it looks like the board you want is the "Indigo2Video for Impact", part number 030-0662-00x. The manual for that board is available here: http://www.sgistuff.net/hardware/video/d...impact.pdf. There is also the Impact Digital Video Board, with a similar part number of 030-0663-00x.

So, for analog NTSC video in/out, the 030-0662-00x should serve your needs.

The board looks like this.  Make sure you have the cables to connect to the IMPACT boardset.

Provides a connector for the IndyCam and another connector for a breakout box.

The breakout box gives you 2 x Composite Video In/1 x S-Video In and a single output each for Composite & S-Video.

I know this is a late reply, but I wanted to see if it was known that the ribbon cables to connect the Impact video board seem difficult to find. I've found the boards, but nobody seems to have the cables to connect to the video card.
What's the best option moving forward? Where would I find these cables?

Speak to Ian Mapleson, who runs "Ian's SGI Depot" or Doug Mashek, who runs "Mashek Systems. I'm sure one of them will be able to help you with this.
